UPDATING VILLAGE

Type 7: description and recommendation

In comparison to the average your village is affect by decline in the strongest way. The relationship between young and elder population groups is very disproportionate. The elder population group is growing very strong, whereas the young population groups are diminishing. There are considerable more emigrants than immigrants. The family relationships are concentrating to the close neighbourhood very seldom, so that you have to worry about a higher risk of empty houses in the next 20 years already.

Both in economical and in social terms your village has stable structures. The unemployment rate is low; there is an outstanding number of enterprises in your village.

The relatively high number of associations and clubs as well as the number of younger members has a positive effect on social life.

Even if your economic and social structure is tightened there is a need for action, because of your very bad demography. Keep in mind that a diminishing population have a negative effect on your stable structure. How long you can maintain a club if more and more people emigrate? How your enterprises can find successors if young people are already living in the city? Nevertheless: You have the best premises to change something. Start now! Use your existing possibilities. Involve your inhabitants, enterprises and clubs to make your village well-known in the surrounding. Your potentials are attractive, promote them! Talk to the elders. Ask them, which plans they and their families have with their houses. Find out, which houses are maybe for sale? Support a property change without problems and do not accept empty houses!
